It is pretty amazing to have this sculpture by Raymond Kaskey in Shreveport.  Kaskey has done some incredible sculptures for the World War II Memorial in Washington DC. He is also known for his incredible sculpture “Portlandia“, in Portland, Oregon, the largest copper repousse (design made by hammering the metal from the reverse side) statue since the Statue of Liberty.  Shreveport’s bronze and painted statue, “Justice Victorius”, at the entrance of the United States Court House was made in 1995. I enjoy this sculpture with the depiction of lady justice incorporated into the sundial, showing the relationship of justice and time.
